Trust Online Security

We have applied a great deal of attention to providing the most secure environment possible for delivering trust account information through the Internet. It's true that the Internet is public and unregulated. Everyone using Lake City Bank's Trust Online will benefit from the following security features designed to protect your account information.

  • Everyone using Lake City Bank's Trust Online must use a valid Access ID Number, PIN, and Trust Account Number combination. This information is used to access predefined functions on a firewall-protected Internet server at our Trust accounting services provider. Lake City Bank's Trust Online Internet service is for inquiry only. All Access ID, PIN, and Trust Account Number combinations are verified using a mainframe security application called RACF, which we control.

  • Once we've given you an Access ID and PIN, please set your computer's Internet browser software to use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Encryption. For the maximum security of your data, all account information transmitted over the Internet should be encrypted. Lake City Bank's Trust Online uses a 128-bit encryption key. The security protocol is SSL 3.0. In order for your account information to be protected, you must set your PC's Internet browser to SSL encryption.

  • Lake City Bank's Trust Online server is protected behind a firewall; therefore, all Internet traffic going to and from the server must pass through the firewall. The firewall and Lake City Bank's Trust Online server are located in a second, limited access area of our Trust accounting provider.

  • Lake City Bank's Trust Online functions are restricted by Access ID. We standardize the expiration length of time for a PIN and whether or not the the user must change his/her PIN the first time accessing Trust Online. PINs must be 6-8 characters in length and can be updated at any time by the user.

  • Lake City Bank's Trust Online will revoke the Access ID if the PIN was incorrectly entered more than six consecutive times. When an Access ID is revoked, you'll need to contact your Lake City Bank Trust Officer/Administrator and we'll re-establish accessibility.

  • For security purposes, Trust Online will disable an inactive session after fifteen minutes of inactivity. If you'd like to access your information again, log back on to Trust Online.
