Lake City Bank Promotes Douglas R. Samuels to Senior Vice President

Lake City Bank is pleased to announce that it has promoted Douglas R. Samuels to Senior Vice President, Corporate and Institutional Services Manager.

“Since joining the team in 2006, Doug has played a key role in developing and expanding our Corporate and Institutional Services group and has been instrumental in the growth of the business,” said David M. Findlay, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Samuels manages the Treasury Management, Merchant and Cardholder Services and Retirement Services sales teams. He also manages and develops Treasury Management products. He has been with the bank for 12 years.

Samuels has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Valparaiso University. He is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and serves as a board member for the AFP Indiana Chapter. He also volunteers for Junior Achievement.

“Doug’s knowledge and initiative have enabled us to bring technology driven treasury management products to our business customers,” said Eric H. Ottinger, Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking. “He has made a significant contribution to the bank’s success.”
