Lakeland Financial Reports Record Performance
Second Quarter Net Income Increases 20%
Lakeland Financial Corporation (Nasdaq Global Select/LKFN), parent company of Lake City Bank, today reported record second quarter net income of $15.4 million for the three months ended June 30, an increase of 20% versus $12.8 million for the second quarter of 2016. Diluted net income per common share also increased 20% to $0.60 for the second quarter of 2017, versus $0.50 for the second quarter of 2016, representing a record quarter for the company and its shareholders. On a linked quarter basis net income increased 6% or $850,000 from the first quarter ended March 31, 2017, which had net income of $14.5 million and $0.57 diluted net income per common share.
