Lake City Bank’s Gloria J. Crawford Named Community Reinvestment Officer

Lake City Bank is pleased to announce that Gloria J. Crawford has been named Vice President, Community Reinvestment Officer for the bank’s Central Indiana market. Crawford, who joined the bank in 2014, was Vice President, Retail Banking Officer and managed the bank’s Clearwater office since its opening.

“Gloria is uniquely suited to this new role,” said Kristin L. Pruitt, Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer. “She has built strong relationships with community groups in Indianapolis and helped develop programs that foster financial literacy and small business growth.”

In her new role, Crawford will develop and manage community relations for the bank in Central Indiana, including continuing to develop relationships with community groups that she has worked with since joining the bank. She is also responsible for ensuring that the bank adheres to regulations that are part of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) particularly as they relate to planning and development of policies and activities that increase lending, services and investments that meet community needs.

“Community relations is in Gloria’s DNA,” said David M. Findlay, President and Chief Executive Officer. “We know that she will help us develop even more partnerships and programs in this role.”

Crawford has a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University. She serves as a board member for the IPS Education Foundation, the Indy Black Chamber of Commerce and the 2020 MLK Commons Vitality committee. She also volunteers for Flanner House, the Martindale-Brightwood Community Development Corporation and as a financial literacy coach.
