In my 12 years at Lake City Bank, I have worked in 3 different areas. In each role I have been given the necessary tools to grow both personally and professionally. These opportunities have allowed me to develop a career at Lake City Bank.

How does Lake City Bank exemplify its core value of inclusivity?
The leadership team here has always encouraged employee feedback. They follow that up with genuine care and regard for each team member’s opinion. As a team we continuously strive to improve and further the conversation on inclusion. There is always room for growth, and as a team we understand that.

What have Lake City Bank’s diversity and inclusion efforts taught you so far?
Since becoming a Diversity and Inclusion task force member, I have learned that active listening is the first step toward a more inclusive workplace. Leading with empathy and compassion will foster genuine relationships. Holding ourselves and each other accountable to improve our inclusion efforts each day will ensure a better workplace for years to come.
