Zelle® Now Live in Lake City Bank Mobile Banking App

Lake City Bank announced the Zelle experience is now LIVE in its mobile banking app. Embedded in Lake City Bank Mobile Banking, Zelle provides convenient person-to-person (P2P) payments for more than 29,000 Lake City Bank mobile banking customers.

“Lake City Bank is one of the first community banks in Indiana to offer Zelle,” said David M. Findlay, President and Chief Executive Officer, Lake City Bank. “Zelle is an important step in our commitment to provide technology-driven solutions to our customers.”

The Zelle Network® includes banks and credit unions of all sizes. For more than 95 million consumers, Zelle is already available from the convenience of their mobile banking app, making digital payments a fast, safe and easy alternative to cash and checks. Zelle allows for funds to be sent from one bank account in the U.S. to another, using only a recipient’s email address or U.S. mobile number. Funds are typically available within minutes1 when both parties are already enrolled with Zelle.

Along with providing access to Zelle, Lake City Bank’s mobile app also allows customers to check balances and transfer money between accounts on the go, deposit checks, take control of their debit cards and make ATM withdrawals using only their phone.
